She earned her bachelor’s degree from New Mexico State University. Cassandra is a TEA licensed Teaching Assistant and a member of the Association for Driver Rehabilitation Specialists (ADED). As the adoptive parent of a disabled child, Cassandra has a first-hand understanding of the challenges and obstacles faced by the individual as well as the supporting family members. This understanding initiated the desire to invest her talents helping disabled clients claim or regain greater independence through acquiring the ability to drive. Cassandra readily adapts to an ever changing environment and is able to individualize her teaching style to fit the specific client. She believes you can work hard yet smile and be light-hearted while you do it. Cassandra works to create a positive learning atmosphere and gives each client the courage to stretch themselves until they confidently master the skill of driving. Cassandra admires the tenacity and determination she recognizes in her clients and receives tremendous satisfaction from their accomplishments. Though her time with each client is brief, she strives to ensure her investment permanently and positively alters their world.
